The User can download the mobile application (hereinafter, “App”) from the Apple Store or Google Play, depending on the operating system used by the User's mobile device. Access to and download of the App is completely free, except for the cost of the internet connection through the telecommunications network provided by the User's internet service provider. To use the Service, the Host must complete a User profile to register and then select their preferred subscription plan. Check-in Scan will ask the Host to provide their email address and mobile phone number. Once this information is provided, the Host will receive an activation link in their email account. As the first step in account activation, the Host will be asked to enter an alphanumeric password, which will be used to access their user account. Once logged in, the Host will be able to:
For their part, Guests can access the service completely free of charge, following the instructions provided by the Host, in order to carry out the Check-in process in a comfortable and simple way, as well as with full guarantees of compliance with the regulations applicable to the registration of travelers, and the data protection regulations.
Any fraudulent, abusive, illegal, or bad-faith use of the Service and/or its content is expressly prohibited. Therefore, and without limitation, the User must refrain from:
The Service is a tool to facilitate regulatory compliance in the traveler registration process, but in any case the Host is solely responsible for applying the procedures and functionalities to ensure that the process complies with the applicable regulations in each case.
For their part, all information provided by the Guest must be truthful and accurate. To this end, the Guest must ensure the authenticity of all data provided during the registration process. The Guest must provide all data marked as mandatory in accordance with applicable regulations. The Guest will be solely responsible for any false or inaccurate statements made.
To facilitate the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided, we offer the User (owner, agent or guest) a data confirmation screen so that they can verify that the data sent is correct.
The User shall be solely responsible to Check-in Scan and/or third parties for their use of the Service. Check-in Scan shall not assume any liability arising from the User's use of the Service, especially in cases where such use violates the provisions of this Legal Notice, our General Terms and Conditions and/or Privacy Policy, as well as any applicable regulations.
Although the Service incorporates appropriate safeguards and uses industry-standard technology to maintain and improve its security and integrity, as well as the security of the information it contains, the Internet is not an impenetrable medium. It is the User's responsibility to protect the device used to access the Service from viruses, malware, third-party attacks, or any other harmful computer elements that could affect their device, by enabling appropriate tools for detecting and disinfecting malicious software.

In the case of PMS integration, Check-in Scan will be responsible for applying appropriate measures to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data in the process of transferring the information to the Host's systems, but will not be responsible for any incidents that may arise from the Host's failure to apply technical measures in its own systems and that may affect the continuity of the services provided by Check-in Scan or the personal information processed within the framework of the provision of services.
The User acknowledges and accepts that all content displayed on the website, and in particular, designs, texts, images, logos, icons, buttons, software, trade names, trademarks, or any other signs susceptible to industrial and/or commercial use, are subject to Intellectual Property rights. All trademarks, trade names, or distinctive signs, and all industrial and intellectual property rights over the content and/or any other elements included on the page, are the exclusive property of Check-in Scan and/or third parties, who have the exclusive right to use them in commerce. Therefore, the User agrees not to reproduce, copy, distribute, make available, or otherwise publicly communicate, transform, or modify such content, and to hold Check-in Scan from any claim arising from the breach of these obligations. Under no circumstances does access to the Website imply any waiver, transfer, license, or assignment, in whole or in part, of these rights, unless expressly stated otherwise.
