SES HOSPEDAJES platform has been launched . This platform must be used to register travelers nationwide, with the exception of tourist accommodations that are required to register travelers with the Ertzaintza (Basque Police) or Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police ). The Ertzaintza maintains its own system for registering travelers in the Basque Country to ensure immediate police intervention within its territory.
“…the aforementioned establishments located within the jurisdiction of the Basque Country will continue to notify and register in the files of the Department of Security, in order to ensure the immediacy of any potential police intervention by the Ertzaintza in the Basque Autonomous Community.”
