The Check-in Scan app works on most smartphones with iOS or Android operating systems.

Our app scans the “barcode” of passports and ID cards, which you will find on the bottom of the passport or the back of an ID card. It is something similar to the following.
It really depends on your taste. You'll find that some guests will prefer to simply use their finger and others may feel more comfortable using a digital pen. If you're going to allow guests to self-check in at your properties, it may be a good idea to have a digital pen near the QR code sheet so they can use it if they want.

We do not store data unnecessarily, if you cancel your account we will delete all data from your account. We also clean our server to ensure that all unnecessary documents are removed.

If you are in the vacation rental business, whether you rent, manage and/or own properties for vacation rentals, you have most likely heard that these properties are known as “Housing for Tourist Purposes” and require a tourism license. Part of the obligations of this license means that you must submit the guest's identification details to the police within 24 hours of the guest's arrival at the vacation property.
Additionally, each guest is required to sign a “traveler share” or guest record registration form, which must be kept in a book or file for each property for the next 3 years. An agent is basically someone who can use the application, to include its settings, properties, etc. Essentially, an agent could be an employee of the property owner who will receive visitors. It could also be a cleaner, a transport company or a neighbor etc. You can add as many agents as you want to your application.
When you download our app and register, we automatically assign you demo mode. This allows you to test the passport or ID card scan with your phone's camera so you can use it before doing an actual check-in with customers.
It also allows you to try out the digital signature panel. Any scans or signatures done in demo mode are not recorded by the police, in fact they are not saved in the database, so feel free to try it out.
Yes. In fact, anyone who downloads the app will be able to do as many demos as they want on their own phone. To do this, you just have to go to the application settings and click on "Take a test".
Well, we'll be sad to see you go of course, but you don't have contracts with us, so you can leave whenever you want. You can download all traveler logbooks for each property at any time, so simply do that before closing your account and then notify us via web chat or mobile app and we will advise you on next steps.
Any confidential information, including guests' personal data, as well as any login code from the national police, civil guard, mossos d'esquadra or ertzaintza, is encrypted in our database at 2048 bits RSA. We do not email your login details, everything you need to work is in your web-based and/or app-based control panel, and access to these is via a secure SSL tunnel. Therefore, all important data is contained in a high level of security and privacy within our system. Additionally, we track every digital document on our server and it is cleaned nightly to ensure that very few documents are available within our filing systems.
