Web Check-in Process

Link reception through messaging systems

The tourist accommodation will send a link to the guest's email to begin the web check-in process without having to download the app.

Beginning of the web check-in process

When the guest clicks on the link sent by the messaging systems, they will be taken to app.checkinscan.com, where they can click “Start Check-in” from the browser.

At the beginning of the process, the guest's reservation information will appear on the screen. If everything is correct, click continue to begin the documentation scan.

Identity verification

Subsequently, the MRZ code (alphanumeric digits that usually appear on the back of the identity document or passport) must be scanned, automatically recording the required data. The device's camera will read the document code.

Signature

Once the identification document is scanned, the registration will be completed with the digital signature made with the finger or with a pointer.

Sending data to the corresponding authorities

Once the in-person check-in process has been completed, travelers' data will be reported to the corresponding authorities, complying with all legal requirements.
